Antique German Beer Stein - $150 (new baltimore/chesterfield)

a nice old antique glass German beer stein.
on the ceramic top is a picture of a pretty young woman.
engraved on the side of the pewter lid in German script loosely translated is "for memento on 21 may 1881".
this was probably a wedding gift, anniversary gift or birthday present for her husband.
stamped into the bottom of the pewter lid is "landau" which is the name of a German city.
the maker of the stein is stamped too light to decipher.
it is a 1/2 liter capacity mug.
this type of mug is very unusual.
