*Job Summary:* We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Administrator to manage and maintain our manufacturing facility's server and network infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, stability, and security of IT services and providing effective support to all users.
*Key Responsibilities:* * Install, configure, and maintain servers, network devices, and firewalls.
* Ensure network and IP connectivity of all workstations, application servers, and back-end office infrastructure.
* Monitor network performance and optimize it for maximum efficiency and reliability.
* Assist in the management of security solutions, including firewalls, anti-virus solutions, and intrusion detection systems.
* Manage backups, disaster recovery operations, and ensure data integrity and security.
* Resolve hardware and software issues related to the server and network environment.
* Coordinate with corporate IT for troubleshooting, planning and problem resolution.
* Maintain an inventory of all network devices and software licenses.
* Document network problems and resolutions for future reference.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
*Qualifications:* * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in network administration, including hands-on experience with firewalls, routers, switches, and various network monitoring tools.
* Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.
Cisco knowledge is a plus.
* Strong understanding of Microsoft applications, services, and methodologies (i.
e.
Windows 10 and newer, Server 2016 and newer, SQL, Exchange, Active Directory, DNS, and Domain Controllers) * Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot IT/IOT/OT devices (I.
e.
Cameras, scanners, printers, scales, etc.
).
* Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols.
* Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems.
* Experience with network security measures, and knowledge of best practices for securing network communications.
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.
* Willingness to work outside of standard business hours and travel when required.
* Industry-recognized certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or similar will be considered an asset.
*Working Conditions:* * This role requires occasional physical activity, including handling of heavy objects, and working in a manufacturing environment.
* The position may require being on-call to provide support during off-hours in case of emergencies or system failures.
