Junior Engineer, Mechanical
CFM Port Hope
Position and Responsibilities
As a member of the Port Hope Project Engineering Team, you will be working in collaboration with Engineering and Maintenance groups, primarily focusing on building and facilities equipment design and support.
The work will include projects, support for existing equipment and development of all required technical documentation.
As a graduate Engineer, you will take ownership for the work and develop the necessary skills to function independently while taking work direction from other technical staff.
Education and Qualifications
Requirements of the position:
Recent Graduate Mechanical Engineer from a recognized program.
Working knowledge of Inventor, Autocad and Solidworks
Proficiency in MS Office and Windows operating systems
Experience with HVAC systems, compressed air systems, process gas supply systems etc.
would be an asset.
Hands on mechanical aptitude.
Other Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to organize and prioritize workload.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Team player.
Relevant work experience as a summer/co-op student.
